It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Childress of Vinton, Virginia, who passed away on January 14, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Helms and Mickey Helms. She is survived by: her husband Jay; her sons, Jason (Cassy) and David; her grandchildren, Payten and Jackson; and her brother Max (Mess). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
