It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Wiseman (Vinton, Virginia), born in Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on March 12, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Posey Peters and Lena Peters; her husband Roy Lee Wiseman; her siblings, Curtis A. Peters, Shirley P. Maxwell and Viola P. Rippee; and her granddaughter Selena Sledd Huddleston.
She is survived by: her children, Jean Gearheart (David) of Roanoke, Diane Lyle (Carl) of Roanoke, Connie Mabry of Roanoke and Barry Wiseman of Roanoke; her siblings, Frank Peters (Joan) and Pansy P. Richardson; and her sister-in-law Lois King. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
