He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Jackson Basham and Mary Louise Basham. He is survived by: his wife Kim Basham; his children, Louis Morgan (Ashley Hart), Heather Kornegay (Justin) and Emily Hylton (Josh); his grandchildren, Avery Kornegay and L. K.; his siblings-in-law, Jim Jennings (Lisa), Rick Jennings (Shelby) and Marion Forrester (Jonathan); and his cousin Carol Kelley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many other family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oakey's Vinton Chapel (627 Hardy Rd, Vinton, VA 24179). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (1401 Mountain View Rd, Vinton, VA 24179).
