It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Majorie S Trent of Vinton, Virginia, who passed away on December 6, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Ralph Saunders and Cora Belle Meador Saunders; her former husband Houston A Trussler, Jr.; her husband Raymond Clyde Trent; her daughter Sharon Renee Trussler Perdue; and her sister Penny Ann Saunders.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Sue Trussler of Granville County, NC, Jeff L Trussler and Lisa Smith Trussler of Raleigh, NC; her grandsons, Jeffrey Thomas Trussler and Samuel Grey Trussler (Danielle); her great grandchildren, Dylan and Ryker; her siblings, Barbara Saunders Overstreet of Salem, Ralph Edward "Buck" Saunders of Chamblissburg, Hettie Arabella Saunders of Hickory, NC and Roscoe Neal Saunders of Chamblissburg; and her aunt June Meador Wilkes of Vinton. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
