He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Wilson Light and Ethel Hardy Light; and his brothers, Carlton Light, Willard Light, Clarence Light and Auburn Light.
He is survived by: his significant other Irene DeLong Light; his children, Diane Conner (Kevin), Steven Light (Lisa), Dennis Light and Amy Grammer (Shannon); his grandchildren, Joseph Ross (Tarena), Nick Bilbro, Kyndal Grammer Beeker (Austin), Ali Maidmont (Jason), Abigale Light (Abby) and Hannah Light; his great grandchildren, Jared Ross (Little Joe) and Ainsley Ross (Peanut); his siblings, Howard Light (Shirley) and Mildred Kennedy; his siblings-in-law, Gladys Light, Ann Light, Mary Ann Dalton, Tom and Marvin DeLong (Lynne); and his nieces, Teri McIntyre and Dawn DeLong. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
