She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Thompson and Viola Thompson; her husband Richard I. Carroll (Dick); and her son-in-law James Fountain. She is survived by: her children, Sherry L. Fountain (James), Sarah C. Lumpkin (Eddie) and John I. Carroll (Edie); her grandchildren, Jamie Lumpkin (Catie), Julie Sasse (Nathan), John Richard Carroll (Caroline) and Christen E. Bales (Jonathan); her great grandchildren, Caleb, Benjamin, Daniel, Bentley, Ayla Joy, Isaac Lumpkin, Eloise, Claire, Isaac Carroll, Joshua and Samantha Sasse; her brother James H.; and her sister-in-law Linda Thompson Jr..
