She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas M. Crowell and Laura Carlton Crowell. She is survived by: her husband Grover C. Waldron; her daughters, Melinda Whitaker (Tony) and Stephanie Dorsett (Jeff); her grandsons, Austin Whitaker, Clayton Whitaker, Troy Dorsett and Trevor Dorsett; her nephew Norman Waldron; her great-nephews, Isaiah and Elijah; her great-niece Alyssa; and her siblings, Darlene Caldwell, Diane Caldwell, Juanita Richardson, Carol Patton and Homer Warden. She is also survived by her family and friends.
