We are sad to announce that on January 6, 2019, at the age of 78, Lew Thompson (Vinton, Virginia), born in Daleville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Glenmore Thompson and Glema Thompson; his parent-in-law Lonnie; his son-in-law Dennis Barker; his wife Velma Kelly Thompson; his children, Nora Lynn Barker and Glenn; his grandson Cameron; and his sister Vera Ann Rupert. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to American Cancer Discovery Shop at 400 Scruggs Road, Moneta, VA 24121.
