She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Ray and Jane Ray; and her sister Gloria Bensko. She is survived by: her husband Jim Barnes; her children, James William Barnes (Angela Snead), Kenn Michael Barnes and Jennifer Rae Barnes; and her friends, Doug Vaughan, Angie O'Brien and Lynn Marie Lee.
