She was predeceased by: her parents, Perla Clay and Eloise Clay; her husband Carl Songer; her sister Elaine Tiller; and her stepsons, Kenneth Songer and James Songer.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Furr and Kenneth Altis; her grandsons, David Altis, Matthew Altis and Lewis Altis; her siblings, Linda Spencer and Henry Clay; her stepdaughter Teresa Songer; her aunt Edna Palmer; and her friend Brenda Robertson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
