He was predeceased by: his brother James "Jimmy" Tate, Jr.; and his grandmother Hattie Dickerson Aaron. He is survived by: his son John Randall Tate II; his girlfriend Karen Tiller; and his sister Donna Tate Worrell. He is also survived by his friends and family.
