He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Pierson (C. O.) and Louise Austin Pierson; and his brother Jackie Ray Pierson. He is survived by: his sister Norma Jean Pierson Wray; his cousins, Burgess "Jimbo" Pierson and Gary Austin; his daughter Eevan Lilly; his son-in-law Marcus Robertson; and his grandchildren, Rece Lilly and Rayvon Robertson.
