James Pagans Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Pagans Sr. of Vinton, Virginia, born in Franklin, Virginia, who passed away on March 28, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Thomas and Julia Willie Pagans; his wife Doris Altice Pagans; and his siblings, Grover Pagans, Alfred Pagans, Grady Pagans, Richard Pagans, Marie Perdue and Rachel Pearman.
He is survived by: his children, James Russell Pagans Jr. (Donna) of Salem, VA and Rebecca Pagans Brooks (Michael) of Roanoke, VA; his grandchildren, Jennifer Cox, Amanda Pagans, Andrew Brooks and Emily Brooks; his great grandchildren, Olivia Cox and Lauren Cox; his brother Oscar Wayne Pagans (Loraine); and his brother-in-law Samuel "Pete" Pearman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Social distancing and face covering recommendations will be observed.
