She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James Blane Lafon; her parents, Douglas Henry and Emma Lois Gray Thompson; her sons, James Douglas Lafon (Marchetta Light Lafon) and Homer Lindsey Lafon; her close friend Jack Salyers of Clinchco, VA.; her grandfather Thompson; her daughter Pamela Adams (Michael) of Roanoke, VA; her daughter-in-law Karen Lafon of Pocahontas, VA.; her grandchildren, Amanda Lafon, Daniel, Bryan, Brody Sayers, Mia, Jordan Walk, Caleb, Charlie, Rhys and Raina Lafon; her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Jacob, Douglas, Olivia, Kiera, Laci, Alaya, Braylon, Madison, Finnoula, Charlie, Cameron, Braxton, Jaxon and Willow; her daughter Scout (Anne Marie Griffin); and also, Brenda Cruise and Linda Wyatt. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
