He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Elsworth Carr and Mary Carr Miller; his stepfather Walter Miller; his parent-in-law Cal C.; and his brother-in-law Robert Ferris.
He is survived by: his wife Helen "Libby" Gamble Carr; his daughter Laura Lee; his son-in-law David Griffith; his grandsons, Jacob Griffith and Ryan Griffith; his siblings-in-law, Cal "Dewey" Gamble (Leslie), John Gamble (Debbie), Glenn "Jigger" Gamble (Jum Soon) and Lynn Ferris; and his aunt Liz Clark. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
