He is survived by: his son Patrick (Renae); his grandchildren, Lucas and Olivia of Lynchburg; his siblings, Howard D. Snyder of Washington, DC, Dana A. Snyder of Charleston, WV and Nesba A. Tench of Gallipolis Ferry, WV; his foster sister Linda Lawrence; and his pet Piper. He is also survived by his extended family, close friends, neighbors.

“It was so sad to hear of Gary’s passing. I worked with him at GE and he was one of my friends and also one of the sweetest people I knew there. He will be truly missed! I’m glad the last time I saw him, Dec 2021, that I hugged him, kissed him on the cheek and told him I love him! Prayers are going out for his family! We all were truly blessed to have him in our lives!”
