He was predeceased by: his wife Stella Mae LaFon; his parents, Minor LaFon and Rose Geneva LaFon; and his siblings, Buddy LaFon and Lois Thomas.

He is survived by: his children, Randy LaFon of Goodview and Angie Walker (Dennis) of Blue Ridge; his granddaughter Melia Rose LaFon (Rosebud); and his siblings, Jack LaFon and Lil St.
