It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank Schmidt Jr. (Vinton, Virginia), who passed away on September 25, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary and Frank S. Schmidt, Sr; and his brother Terry L. Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Patricia P. Schmidt; his daughter Tina Showalter; his son-in-law Wesley Showalter; his granddaughter Megan; his great grandchildren, Bauer and Adler; his sister Peggy Joyce Mills; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Schmidt, Emma Johnson, Carleen Hayden (Bob), JoAnn Pace, Gladys Pace, Shirley Pace and George Pace. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Hardy or Stewartsville Rescue Squads.
