She is survived by: her husband James Wright Sr.; her son Jamar Wright; her grandchildren, Kenneth Robertson and Victoria Robertson; and her siblings, Diane Blair (Edward), Lewis Taylor, Brenda Mike, Harold Taylor and Bernard Taylor. She is also survived by extended family, including nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Serenity Funeral Home (126 Gilmer Ave NW, Roanoke, VA 24016). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
