She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh G. Howard and Anna Lee Howard Stone; and her son Robert Paul Burton. She is survived by: her husband R. Paul Burton; her son David "Dave" H. Burton (Maribeth Burton) of Lexington; her daughter-in-law Kim E. Burton of Roanoke; her grandchildren, Meredith B. Chudy (Joshua Chudy) of Ashburn, Lindsey Burton of Richmond, Matthew D. Burton of Lexington, Douglas P. Burton of Lexington and Suzanne R. Burton of Washington, D. C.; her great grandchild Abigail Nicole Chudy of Ashburn; and her sister Eloise H. Clements of Roanoke.
