He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldridge Wooddy Hough and Ethel Elizabeth Janney Hough. He is survived by: his wife Ardella Dillard Hough; his children, Mark Elliott Hough (Terry) and Donna Renee Hough Thomas (Mark); his grandchildren, Ashleigh Buck Hough Pinion (Tim), Matthew Elliott Thomas (Valerie), Stephanie Thomas Boyd (Trey), Amanda Hough, Alexis Hough Parrish (Mat) and Tanner Elliott Hough (Morgan Fletchall); and his great grandchildren, Miley Moses, Mason Moses, Spencer Boyd, Dane Michael Elliott Thomas, Aubrey Walters, Lacey Thomas, Macklin-Thomas Pinion, Kaven-Elliott Mayo and Bearett-Adrian Elliott Parrish.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sherwood Memorial Park (1250 E Main St, Salem, VA 24153).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Vinton Baptist Church Bus Shelter Fund.
