He was predeceased by: his wife Belva Brown Stevens; his granddaughter Angela Wingfield; his son-in-law Robert Wingfield; his parents, Phillip Stevens and Vera Stevens; and his siblings, Ethel Dooley, Johnny Stevens and William Stevens.
He is survived by: his children, Martha Wingfield, Daniel Stevens, Jr., Francis Hall (Don) and Lillie Stevens; his grandchildren, Denise Hutson (Donny), Donna Lynch (Mark), Cindy Crouch (Tony), Timothy Wingfield (Michele), Chad Jordan, Rob Jordan and Melissa Stevens; and his sisters-in-law, Peggy and Gladys Brown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
