He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Cabel Dillard Sr. and Edna Blake Dillard; his wife Katherine Crumpacker Dillard; and his siblings, Jack, Horace (Bud), Dorothy Dillard Walsh and Margaret Dillard Greeley (Polly).
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Dillard Ellis (Charles) and Steven Dillard (Karen); his grandchildren, William Ellis, Jamie Dillard (Amanda), Ashlee Dillard Hurt (Derek) and Lauren Dillard Dunford (Stevan); his great grandchildren, Abby Dillard and Grayson Hurt; and his sister-in-law Ruth Bibb Dillard.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Good Samaritan Hospice or to Bethany Christian Church.
