She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlin Trail and Bessie Trail. She is survived by: her husband Donald Eugene Fernatt; her children, Cynthia Dillon (Bobby) of Roanoke and Steven Fernatt (Lisa) of Culpeper, VA; and her siblings, Opal Cox (Harold) of Pulaski and Jack Trail (Mary Ann) of Galloway, NJ.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was a faithful and longtime member of Rainbow Forest Baptist Church in Troutville and request the Memorial donations be made there.
