It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alma Powers Pond (Vinton, Virginia), who passed away on January 1, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Powers and Beulah Powers; and her siblings, Agnis (Henry Supan), Mickey (Gladys Powers) and Earl Powers.
She is survived by: her son Richard Pond (Elaine); her grandchildren, Rickie Pond (Amy) and Stacey Chattin (Jim); her great grandchildren, Justin Pond, Jacob Pond, Meredith Allen, Samantha Pond and Hayden Allen; her sister Barbara Huffman; and her sister-in-law Carlene Powers. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Midland Baptist Church.
