He was predeceased by: his father Albert Smith; and his sons, Albert Thomas Smith and John Dewayne Smith. He is survived by: his children, David Smith (Lisa) and Katina Smith; and his wife Ella Yearout Smith. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
