He is survived by: his children, Donna Childress, Melanie (Philip Slate), Lisa Kisamore, Gerri (Eugene Mazur), Jeff Childress and Trey Childress; his siblings, Polly Hall, Margaret Marshall and Leroy; and his sister-in-law Lynn Childress. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
