Mavretich of Vienna, Virginia, born in Maspeth, New York, who passed away on September 15, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Bernard Mavretich; and her siblings, Lillian Faby, Anna Rack, Marie Radke, Alfred Pettit and John Pettit.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Walko (Robert) of Albuquerque, NM, John Mavretich of West Park, NY and Robert Mavretich (Faith J.); her grandchildren, Robert J. Mavretich (Brooke), Kathryn D. Foley (Jordan) of Los Angeles, CA, John B. Mavretich (Marie) of Front Royal, VA and Jennifer D. Boersma (John) of McFarland, WI; and her great grandchildren, Luke, Nora, Benjamin, Margaret, Daniel, Ellen, John, Andrew, Clare, Anna, Michael, Kathryn, Gerald, Theodore, Timothy and Titus.
