She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Harris and Mattie Harris; her children, Sekou Touré Hamilton and Shola Hamilton of Reston, Virginia.; her pet Ramsey; her sister Rita; her brother-in-law William Parker; her niece Andrea Wilhite; and her nephews, Nigel Parker, Tobias, Terrell Harris and Randy Harris. She was also cherished by cousins who saw her more as a sister or aunt.
