He is survived by: his wife Pam Seger; his son Ben; his daughter-in-law Dorothy Seger; his son Alex Seger; his grandsons, Oliver and Cole; his sister Susan; his brother-in-law David Crummett; his brother Brittain Seger; and also Nancy Seger. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

No services are scheduled at this time, and in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Inova Schar Cancer Institute.
