Byrnes of Henrico, VA and Kathryn A. Stephens (Byrnes) of New Bern, NC; his son Shannon A. Byrnes of Herndon, VA; his grandson Braden E. Byrnes of Herndon, VA; his daughter-in-law D. Jeannine Byrnes (Long) of Herndon, VA; and his siblings-in-law, Joan M. Byrnes (Malesich) of Henrico, VA and James F. Stephens of New Bern, NC.

Encouraged by Sonia to "down-size" his collection, in 2018 Kerry donated his collection of 2000+ film soundtrack CDs to the Michigan State University Library for the enrichment of MSU music and theatrical arts students.
