He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Joseph Payne and Helen Barbara Dundee; his sister Dorothy; his significant other Dr. Lillian Marlene Jones; his children, Jennifer, J. D. and Heather; and his grandchildren, Ella, Sophia, Jack, Adam, Ethan, William and Charlotte.
