We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2018, at the age of 80, James Carney Jr. (Vienna, Virginia), born in Norfolk, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Dryden. He is survived by: his parents, James Allen and Frances Ferguson Carney; his former wives, Paula Carney and Elizabeth Carney (Paul) of Medford, MA; his sisters, Jane Scully (Malcolm) of Falls Church, VA and Frances Taylor of Lincoln, VA; and his significant other Gloria Sakamoto of Lima. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to the National Wildlife Fund, nwf.org , would be appreciated.
