With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irma Springer Wedemeyer (Vienna, Virginia), born in Portland, Oregon, who passed away on March 1, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Hugh Springer; her son Edward John Springer; her grandson Edward Paul Springer; and her sister Hilde Wolstenholme (Albert Wedemeyer). She is survived by: her children, Maria Springer, Lisa Springer, Joseph Springer, Anna Wolcott and Catherine Springer; her grandchildren, Laura Springer Mahoney, Nathanael Smith, Victoria Smith, Evangeline Smith, Rebekah Smith, Alex Springer, Caroline Springer, Emma Wolcott, Abba Wolcott, Nora Wolcott, Benjamin Wolcott, Aviv Springer-Galst, Naomi Springer-Galst, Isabel Bradford and Colette Bradford; and her great grandchild Elle Mahoney.
