She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Rota and Marcella Rota; her brothers, Peter and Henry; her friend Dolores Maestri; her nephews, Jeffrey, Gary and Rick; her niece Lisa; her daughter Nina (Noah); her grandson Jeffrey; her children, Susan (Steven), Wendy (Tom) and Patric (Bean); her husband Richard (Dick); her children, Jeffrey, Gary (Katy), Rick (Christine) and Lisa (Will); and her sister-in-law Claire Maestri. She was also cherished by her 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
Despite falling and breaking her hip only a month prior, they married on her 88th birthday in 2020 in a ceremony at Mount Tabor Catholic Community in Vienna that was restricted to 19 people because of Covid-19.
