He was predeceased by: his wife Vicki; his parents, Charles and Beulah; and his siblings, Charlie and Rosetta.

He is survived by: his daughter Leslye Joan Schweizer (Doug); his granddaughters, Kristina and Stephanie; his daughter Lisaanne Davis (Harvey); and his granddaughter Rachel (Wes Etheredge).

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to either The ALS Association or the American Cancer Society.
