He was predeceased by: his spouse Alice E. Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Aileen E. O'Donnell and Linda Thompson; his sibling Lucille Cable; and his grandchildren, Kristen Hoffman (Nick), James Coyle (Andi), Mary Lave, Michael O'Donnell and David O'Donnell. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Vienna Volunteer Fire Dept.
