We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2020, at the age of 77, Betty Ann Childress of Vienna, Virginia, born in Louisa, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband John Eugene Childress; her parents, Vivian Stevens and Cleon Chick; her stepfather Thomas Stevens; and her children, Telka Penley and Donald Trainham.

She is survived by: her children, Timothy Trainham of Richmond, VA, Bryant Childress of Richmond, VA and Beth Swearingen of Fayetteville, AR; her sister Judy Chick Beaton of Hillsboro Beach, FL; and her close friend Doug Wallen of Vienna, VA.. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a niece and two nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or your local SPCA.
