He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey P. and Agnes Messing (Walker); and his brothers, Guy G. Messing of Volcano and Roger L. Messing of Oshkosh. He is survived by: his sons, Brian (Tiare) of Rockland and Mark (Sandi) of Boise; his sister Faye Miller of Greenville; his sister-in-law Carol Messing of Gold Beach; his child Shirley Messing of Antioch; and also, Katherine of Hollywood and Collette of Rockland. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
