She was predeceased by: her husband John Marshall "Jack" Nelson; her parents, Claude Dodd and Fannie C. Dodd; and her sibling Walker Dodd. She is survived by: her siblings, Mattie Bennett, Luther Dodd, Hubbard Dodd, Irene Clark and Annie Morris; her children, Kathy Epperson (Jerry), John Nelson, Jackie Lamanna (Larry) and Ralph Nelson (Wendy); her grandchildren, Wil Epperson (Alicia), Kelley Parks (Lisa), Tony Nelson (Beth), Christian Nelson, Stephen Lamanna (Ivy), Paul Lamanna (Jenn), Jonathan Lamanna (Candy), Kathryn Emons (Tim), Nick Nelson and Chris Nelson; her great grandchildren, Julia Parks, Sadie Epperson, Kaylee Nelson, Zoie Lamanna, Conner Lamanna, Henley Lamanna, Caroline Lamanna and Joseph Lamanna; and her siblings, Parker Dodd, Hampton Dodd, Leighton Dodd (Maryanne), Jean Bigger and Hilda Smith.
