She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Oakley Slaughter and Herbert Mavins Slaughter; her husband Joseph Lawson Hendrick; and her siblings, Louise Ragsdale, Roy Slaughter, Richard Slaughter, Jerry Slaughter and James Slaughter.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Renee Hendrick, Joel Mavins Hendrick and Shaun Lawson Hendrick; and her grandchildren, Nicolle C. Ackley, Aurelie M. Hardell, Jenna M. Hendrick and Jason D. Hendrick.
A small private interment at Kenbridge Heights Cemetery is planned due to concerns of the Covid pandemic.
