He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Aubrey Bowen Dawson and Mary Ella Jones Dawson; his siblings, Ronnie Dawson of Lunenburg, Pamela DeHart of Amelia, Wanda Norton of Lunenburg and Sharon Gaulding of Lunenburg; his nephew Glenn Gilmer; and his nieces, Melissa Gauding-Robbins, Candace Norton and Olivia Norton.
