He is survived by: his siblings, James Anderton, Stan Anderton and Betty Jo Accuard (BJ); his children, David Plush, Michelle Mueller (Tim), Dwayne Jackson (Rita) and Jackee Jeffers; and his grandchildren, Victoria Leonard (Jason), Shelby Conner (CJ), Emily Jackson (Lacoby) and Alexis Jeffers. He is also survived by five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Staples Funeral Home (2300 Nottoway Blvd, Victoria, VA 23974). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of the Amelia Veterans Cemetery (10300 Pridesville Rd, Amelia Court House, VA 23002).
