He is survived by: his children, Jocelyn Carver (Jack), Jolito Butler (Dolores), John Butler (Rhapsody) and Kevin Butler (Julia); his grandchildren, Rodel Aristotle Butler, Leona Mae Butler, Realitie Vittoria S. Butler, Juel Jazmyn B. Loggins (Sean), Lailahnee Guemamella Butler, Jolito I. Butler, Jr., Rhys Jennalee S. Butler, Leahyanna Milagros Butler, Johnice Charlene Sarmiento-Butler, Leala Keiwanee I. Butler, Caleb Matthew Carver, Destin Josh S. Butler and Benjamin Oliver Butler; and his siblings, Glenn Butler, Dennis Butler (Fawn) and Melody Sanders (Joe). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
