She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Lea and Mary Kernodle Lea; her spouse Rhoecus Cousins, Sr.; her children, Carla C. Waller, Christy D. Cousins and Rhoecus Cousins, Jr.; and her siblings, Meriam Shaw, Howard Lea and William Lea.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Kathy Cousins-Cooper (Hector Cooper) of Whitsett, NC and Ricky Darryl Cousins of Victoria, VA; her grandchildren, Richard Alexander Waller, IV of Charlotte, NC, Cameron Cooper of Whitsett, NC and Kyle Cooper of Whitsett, NC; and her sister Angeline Mitchell (Mike) of Pfafftown, NC. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Baptist Church (399 S Main St, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
