She was predeceased by: her husband Elwood Edison Hamlet; her parents, Willie Clell Glasscock, Sr. and Aval Taylor Glasscock; and her sisters, Helen G. Holder and Marion G. Smith.
She is survived by: her siblings, Willie C. "Billy" Glasscock, Jr. (Geraldine) and Dorothy G. Driskill; and her nieces, Gayle Barnaby and Janet S. Stone. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
