He is survived by: his sons, Gordon Terry Clarke (Doris) of Mathews, VA and Jan Clarke (Carrie) of Crewe, VA; his stepchildren, James Abernathy (Bernadine) of Victoria, VA, Jewell Widgins (Bill) of Chesapeake, VA and Rose Wright (Tommy) of Victoria, VA; his grandchildren, Gordon Terry "Opey" Clarke, Jr., E. B. Stuart, Thomas Clarke, Mary Catherine, Lawson Abernathy, Tara W. Dickson, Tommy Cole and Briggs Wright; his great grandchildren, Stella and Diana Dickson; his siblings-in-law, Martha N. Clark and Early Conner; and his friend John P. Zava of Victoria, VA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
