Frances Dunnavant Sheffield Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frances Dunnavant Sheffield of Victoria, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 17, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Clifford Sheffield, Sr.; her parents, Fannie Dunnavant and Bernard Dunnavant; and her brothers, Shirley and Reginald Dunnavant.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Sheffield and Ralph C. "Cliff" Sheffield, Jr. (Betsy); her grandchildren, Anna Leavitt (Ray), Ford Sheffield (Melissa) and Katherine DiPaolo (Hunter); and her great grandchildren, Logan Belcher, Cole Belcher, Reed Sheffield, Avery Leavitt, Evelyn Harper Leavitt, Adelina DiPaolo and Nico DiPaolo.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Staples Funeral Home (2300 Nottoway Blvd, Victoria, VA 23974). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at the Lakeview Cemetery.
