He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Chaffin, Sr. and Allie Jennings Chaffin of Victoria, VA; his daughter Cassandra Chaffin; and his brothers, Willie Jr. LeaRoyal, Garfield and Russel Chaffin.
He is survived by: his daughter Leticia Chaffin; his granddaughters, Tamike Harper-Young and Juanita Chaffin; his close friend Francis Sykes; his son David Chaffin; his stepchildren, Bonita Jones and Alonzo Sykes; and his siblings, Eddie Chaffin, Sr., Cloyd Chaffin, EugenE Chaffin, Walter Chaffin, Waverly Chaffin and Lillie Mae Chaffin. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; one great grandchild.
