It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Gay Brooks of Vesuvius, Virginia, who passed away on March 23, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Joseph I. Reynolds; her husband James Hersey Brooks; her sons, Mark Reynolds and Kevin A. Hubbard; her siblings, Truman Reynolds, Nancy Asbury, Gloria Gibson and Patricia Smith; and her brother-in-law Walter Knicely.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Reynolds (Kimberly) and Susan Foreman; her siblings, Josey Reynolds (Margaret), John Wayne Reynolds and Josephine Knicely; her grandchildren, Kayla Foreman, Buddy Flynn, Christopher Fitzgerald (Melissa), Amanda Mendoza (Manurilio), Tiffany Reynolds, Trevor Terrell and Brett Jenkins (Sabrina); and her great grandchildren, Collin Fitzgerald and Alonzo Mendoza. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions can be made to the Hospice of the Shenandoah.
